In this project we will use Universal POS tags according Universal Dependencies v2 speciffication (see ​http://universaldependencies.org/u/pos/index.html)

The work aims to annotate Open class words  and Closed class words that are divided into these eight categories:

Open class words 

• ​adjective (ADJ)
• ​adverb (ADV)
• ​interjection (INTJ)
• ​noun (NOUN)
• ​proper noun (PROPN)
• ​verb (VERB)

Closed class words

• ​adposition (ADP)
• ​auxiliary (AUX)
• ​coordinating conjunction (CCONJ)
• ​determiner (DET)
• ​numeral (NUM)
• ​particle (PART)
• ​pronoun (PRON)
• ​subordinating conjunction (SCONJ)

For each language we have created separate document where the annotators will provide examples for each POS category.
